The CARe Burn Scales are a suite of self-report burn-specific patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) that have been rigorously developed following a recommended, gold standard protocol (Aaronson et al, 2002; Cano et al, 2004) with input from burns patients, their family members and health professionals across the UK.
